Week 6 - Raiders v. Chargers

The Midget Raiders were unable to break out of their lull this week, and suffered another loss to the Chargers, putting them in a tie for second place in the division. After a big run by Tommy Jamin and a pass interference call in favor of Will Simons on their first possession, the offense looked like it would get on the board, but an interception by Octavio Thomas at the goal line ended the threat. The defense came up big, forcing the Chargers to punt, unfortunately it was mishandled and the Chargers recovered, taking it the length of the field for a TD. The next Raider possession ended on downs, but Cole Stabnick made a great play recovering a Charger fumble on the next series. The offense stalled again and on the next Charger drive, they scored a quick TD making it 12-0 Chargers at the half. The second half was not much better for the Raiders, giving up a long TD pass on the first Chargers possession, and stalling on offense yet again. Lets hope the boys can turn it around this week as they look to face a very tough Eagles team on Sunday!!!
